To get to my favorite place on campus, head towards Jordan Point, take a right, and follow the trail that’s along the water. One of my favorite parts about this spot is that I’ve never encountered anyone here, it’s always just been me. I typically go here to call my parents, so having a calm and private place that’s outdoors is lovely. You can hear the waves crash against the rocks, the sea birds calling to each other, and feel the breeze that comes off of the water. It truly is like an oasis. It’s also wonderful at night. Specifically, it’s a really good stargazing spot. There’s limited light and lots of sky, making the perfect conditions for long talks and endless enjoyable nights. I’m so happy to have happened upon this spot, and I’m sure I will continue to come back to it over the years.
